About

about me

This is me. I’m a teacher specialized in German as a second language with a Master in Spanish.
I grew up in Ecuador, in a multilingual environment. With my dad I speak Swiss German and with my mom and brother Spanish. I went to a German school, where we were taught in German, but we spoke with our friends in Spanish.
By the time I was in middle school, I changed to a Bilingual American School, where most of the subjects where held in English and a few in Spanish.

about my family

I’m married to a wonderful man, whom I met in a Swiss Sports Camp at the age of 15.
He lived back then in Denmark, where he was born and raised and I lived in Ecuador, where I was born and raised. We have at least one thing in common: we both have also Swiss roots. Some years later we found each other in Switzerland while I was studying to become a primary teacher.
After a year he decided to move to Switzerland, close to me. We married 2013/2014 and had a wonderful wedding in Switzerland and Ecuador.
At the beginning of 2016 our little daughter Laia was born. Two years later we got Nils, our baby boy. Now we are complete and very grateful.

why i vlog

My life changed from the second I became a mother. I used to work a lot for a school in Zürich, teaching, developing, bringing experts to our school and organizing trainings about multilingual education for teachers.

Now I decided to work part time and start another project, help people on a greater scale, connect, pass my knowledge on and learn from others.

“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”
